Our Purpose of donating or giving to the Dominican and Haiti Public Schools
Adopt a school Program was founded in 2006 with a goal to assist public schools located in poor and underserved areas in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. The program’s goal is to improve the quality of the education and the environment where these children are learning.
In Hispaniola, public education is free but to attend, all students must provide heir owe school supplies, and uniforms. For countless families of Hispaniola, more then 2/3 rd. of the population are living below the national poverty line and others who are unemployed are unable to provide school supplies materials and uniforms to their children it’s nearly impossible due to economic hardship.
The items of greatest importance are the following:
- Student uniforms
- School supplies
- School desk
- Teacher’s supplies
- Art and Music supplies
- Science Equipment
- Computers and electronics
- Clothing and shoes
By helping to provide these materials, the students of Hispaniola will have an opportunity to receive the required educational foundations necessary for a more productive life.
