Student Qualifications needed:

 

 

1) To be Sophomore or Junior

2) Have 3.0 GPA

3) Thirty (20) Hours of Community Service activity

4) Personal Written Essay

5) Letter of Recommendation from educator, minister, etc.

5) Basic profile (name, age, home town, school, hobby)

6) Submit a short 1 minute video on their reason for wanting to participate

 

 

School Requirements:

 

1) Accountability and Support of admission/qualification process ($200 Fee for 4 or $50 per student)

  1. Complete ESL Application and submit $200 per school fee ($50 per student)
  2. Identifying qualified student
  3. Assist BSB and Visa application
  4. Work closely with BSB Liaison/chaperon
  5. Submit a monthly report on the students and schools fundraising
  6. Sign Contract Agreement with BSB
  7. Banking: Open School banking account

 

2) Assist in Fundraising activities to meet student’s financial needs:

  1. One signature (large) event per school
  2. Raffles, Car Wash, Bake Sales, etc.
  3. An Ask of donor/sponsorship/pledges

 

3) Have an Academic Advisory Selection Committee

  1. a) Must identify a diverse core of supporters (community leaders, businesses, faculty, etc.) to

 

Costs of student participation:  These costs will be the soul responsibilities of the students and the schools.  BSB will on a per need basis assist and provide some students with scholarship support.
